A primary function of each Sheriff in the State of Ohio is the operation of the county jail. To that end, the Sheriff must maintain the security of the correctional facility, and one way this is accomplished is by having written guidelines for inmate conduct while in the facility.
The following links contain excerpts from the Preble County Jail Inmate Handbook that may be useful to family or friends of an inmate, who have questions about visitation, items that may be brought to the jail, and many other topics.
