Workforce Development
Preble County is a Work Ready Community
When a county achieves Certified Work Ready Community status, it means they have a robust, public-private partnership driven approach to link education to workforce development, align to economic development and match people to jobs. Once a community is certified, that is just the beginning. Our next step is to build upon this foundation and further strengthen workforce development efforts through the Maintaining ACT Work Ready Community efforts.
Excellent Public Schools
Preble County invests in long-term business basics in which a company needs to meet production demand such as strong education, training, affordable housing, and young infrastructure. In order to enhance our overall unique quality of life while growing good jobs with high earnings, we continue to focus and improve on our workforce education initiatives.
Higher earnings aren’t the only benefit associated with education. The more educated one is, the more likely they are to enjoy stable, long-term employment. This is the philosophy of Preble County School Districts.
Our schools have achieved both Excellent and Effective ratings by the State of Ohio. With low student to teacher ratios and high graduation rates, families can experience a high quality of life in both community amenities and education.
